Deleting your data

In the app

Open Settings in the Accta app. Under Connected apps you can disconnect QuickBooks, Stripe or Google Calendar; Accta stops reading from it straight away and deletes what it copied from it.Delete my data removes your business, invoices, customers, conversations and uploaded files, and closes your account.

By email

Write to hello@accta.si from the email address you sign in with, and ask us to delete your data. We will confirm when it's done. [For legal review: the response time to promise.]

From the connected tool

You can also remove Accta's access from the other side at any time:

• QuickBooks: in QuickBooks, open Apps, then your connected apps, and disconnect Accta.
• Stripe: delete or roll the restricted key you created for Accta, in the Stripe Dashboard under Developers, API keys.
• Google: in your Google Account, open Security, then Third-party apps with account access, and remove Accta.

Removing access this way stops new data reaching Accta; to remove what Accta already holds, use the options above.

What is deleted

Your account, business details, invoices, customers and their contact details, reminders, conversations, uploaded statements and the tokens for connected tools. [For legal review: how long backups keep data before it's gone, and any records kept by law.]
